PelliTec pads can be found in the footwear of countless thousands of people. The pads help people to enjoy their favourite pastimes and go about their daily work with comfort, convenience and confidence. Such is the success of our blister prevention pads in footwear, we are now developing a larger version for several specialist uses, and sharing packs of our original pads with people who may not otherwise be able to access or afford them. We’re doing this by working with the three wonderful organisations below.
The England Amputee Football Association’s aim is to provide all amputees and people with limb-affecting disabilities, with the opportunity to play football locally, nationally and internationally.
LimbPower support amputees, individuals with limb difference and their families to bridge the gap between hospital rehabilitation and community and school engagement to rebuild lives and improve physical, social and mental well-being.
We are working with The England Amputee Football Association and LimbPower to develop a larger PelliTec pad that will reduce the discomfort which can be suffered by amputees who use a prosthetic.
Forgotten Feet is a raplidly expanding nationwide charity. They put in place a free regular chiropody/podiatry service for those most in need and least likely to have the means to access it. Forgetten Feet’s services can currently be accessed in 85 locations, with more on the way. We support them by donating packs of PelliTec pads to assist in their work.
